Crikey - Crocodile Hunters Dead

I'm sure it is the way he would have wanted to go - but at the age of 44, probably not.

Steve Irwin (of Crocodile Hunter fame) has died at the "hands" of a stingray whilst filming a documentary about the fish.

The man was a nutter, and seemed to take his life in his hands with every animal programme he made. But he was also very entertaining, and educational, so it was a good innings.
